Clarendon is a city located in Donley County, Texas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,026. It is the county seat of Donley County. The city is located on the eastern edge of the Texas Panhandle. Clarendon is home to Clarendon College, a two-year community college. It is also home to the Saints' Roost Museum, which is dedicated to the history of the area. The city has a historic downtown district with buildings dating back to the late 1800s. Clarendon is known for its annual Saint's Roost Celebration, which features a parade, carnival, and rodeo. Agriculture is a major industry in Clarendon, with cattle and wheat being the primary products.
